Truly a Mexican artistic treasure, Gorky Gonzalez founded a pottery workshop in Guanajuato specifically to re-create the traditional Majolica of the Colonial region. Along with his son this workshop has become one of the most important of its kind in Mexico. Gorky's studio of talented artists has won awards and exhibited in Europe, Japan and the United States. Each piece is decorated in one-of-a-kind designs. Prices for pieces shown are $22-25 for salt & peppers and range to $85 for fish figures. As dictated by U.S. and Mexico standards all pieces are lead free. Measurements are, of course, available upon request.
